List of Governors of Haryana (From 1966 to now)
The Governor is the Chief Executive of State appointed by President of India. The President of India appoints the Governor for a term of five years. As the President is the head of the central government, similarly, a governor is the head of the state government. There is no election for the governor and a governor can be the governor of more than one state. The appointment of the Governor is described in Article 155 of the Constitution of India.
